I now have a new aim in life: to collect as many model team sets as I can. I have recently bought a 5563 for half price, and it is amazing. Not only are the pieces brilliant for town building, but the level of detail on the actual model is (...) (24 years ago, 8-Oct-00, to lugnet.modelteam)

I bought the 'Ultimate Lego Book' yesterday. and i got an idea. In it, thier is a massive super tanker, modeled fo the 4 inch people they make for scenes. You may find David Karrs tanker inspiring: (URL) for the bricks, I ususally use red bricks for the hull instead of black. The reason why is because red bricks seem to be in more abundance then black. (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.modelteam)

I imagine they change what sets are offered in the catalog depending on the time of year and what new sets/themes are being showcased that quarter. Just because a set disappears from (...) I think that LEGO should make some miniaturizations of real buildings and statues like the Liberty Statue which comes out late this year. They are some GREAT models of real buildings and statues in LEGOLANDs all over the world. Can't we have some of (...) (24 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.modelteam)
