Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) Thanks! When I first got the pod racer set, I didn't think that I would have any use for those yellow pieces. (...) That's true but my digital camera doesn't have interchangeable lenses. =( --Colin __ __ __ __ __ __ | |_| |_| |_| | | |_| | | | (...)   Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) Making new designs is a good thing. I actually like most of the design of the Turn-A. But the mustache thing on the head is just awful. (...) It's about 80cm/32in long. I tried not to "just assemble standard bricks and make boring big ship". Ken Takeuchi (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) It may take days to discuss about this. :) But the director Mr.Tomino says it was a must to break out "old" Gundams after the 20th anniversary since his memorial first series. And there was no other mecha-designers than Mead he think that can (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) Your work has a nice detail considering its size. I especially like the last one with no head unit. Maybe you already know but my version of Starship Troopers is like this.   Re: 7191 Ultimate Collector Series X-Wing for $149.99?

(...) There was a post on RTL that sais that someone called s@h 3rd jan and got prices of $109 for the tie, with a piece count of 703 and $159 for the x-wing with a 1304 piece count. -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.starwars)

  7191 Ultimate Collector Series X-Wing for $149.99?

$149.99 is the price for the new Ultimate Collector Series X-Wing set and is a bit expensive for a set that only has standard Lego elements in it (no bricks with computers, control centers, fiberoptics, technic motors, etc.) If it is that high then (...)
