You no longer have to place a sentry bid, or use a 3rd party programme. Members con now "watch" an auction: (URL) is item watching? I *was* about to ask what "sipping" is, but now I assume that by changing it to "snipping" that you meant "sniping". (...) I'm having trouble understanding that last sentence. I guess that I just don't see this becoming as much of a problem as you guys seem to think it will be. As a mater of fact, i think it's kinda neat. I know I will be using it to watch some auctions, ones that I probably would NOT have bid on anyways, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

(...) I don't think being able to use the server to put a watch on item is going to have a negative effect. If anything, it will serve to increase final selling prices. Anyone who is serious about sniping already has a system to keep track of (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
