    eBay Craziness —Roy Wood
While we're discussing eBay, can someone explain to me why it is that people are willing to pay retail or more (not even taking into account shipping!) for Lego items that are currently available in-stores or even on-line? I just don't get it. Are (...) (24 years ago, 23-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

(...) Perennial topic. Your guesses are indeed the accepted wisdom as to why, at that level of analysis. I used to try to do something about it, but I gave up.         Re: eBay Craziness —Shiri Dori
Scott, Larry, Come on, you two. Sometimes I get the feeling that you are no more mature than a couple of two-year-olds. I mean, honestly. Do you have to get at it every time you get into discussion? If you really think it's necessary, take it to (...) (24 years ago, 23-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.off-topic.debate)
