  Ebay question
 
I was browsing around Ebay and found this interesting auction: (URL) the text and compare it to the picture... Something is terribly wrong. As a beginner browsing Ebay, are there things i need to know before using it(As a buyer) not to be fooled? (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

I don't really see any problem with the auction, other than the fact that I think there are some pieces there that weren't made till the early/mid 80's... looks like it's fine though... But I do not think that "THERE ARE 247 OLD MISCELLANIOUS PIECES HERE" is a correct description. IMHO, I think that the text should be (...) (24 years ago, 2-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

(...) Yeah, the ad is definitely misleading. It claims the LEGO is from the "late 1960s and 1970s". Looking at the pile, most of the pieces seem to be from the late 1980s at the earliest, while some are 1990s. There might be a few pieces that old, (...)
