Re: LEGO Factory individual parts fulfillment

(...) Somehow I doubt that will happen. There may be some reordering of prices due to a newly competitive market, but I don't see a wholesale failure of BL, at least not for this reason. If TLC allows the ability to obtain certain "previously (...) (20 years ago, 9-Apr-06, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  Re: New "Last Airbender" sets

(...) I came across this cartoon by channel stumbling Sat. morning with my 7 yr old a couple of months ago and don't miss an episode now. I'm very suprised they chose this program to base a line on and going to be watching how well it does. I (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-06, to lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  Re: New "Last Airbender" sets

(...) I myself have never sat through an episode of the show, but my 8 y/o son loves the show, and so do all of his friends. I'm guessing that he is more of the market that the product is aimed at. jt (20 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  Re: New "Last Airbender" sets

Yeah, it puzzles me as well. However, both this and Exo-Force are very anime influenced, and so maybe that is the larger trend LEGO is trying to tap into. Maybe also these are part of a move to increase market share in Japan? Anyway, from the looks (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  Re: New "Last Airbender" sets

(...) As I've heard from my colleagues, this is a fairly new phenomenon, but is just that. Apparently this show is one of the highest rated cartoons around. I too hadn't heard of it, but of course, I don't follow such things...Saturday morning (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  Re: New "Last Airbender" sets

(...) It's not random at all. TLC didn't have to go out of their way to pick up this property because it falls under the Nickelodeon license. And currently it is, IIRC, the number one primetime show for children 2-11. So while AFoLs may not have (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  New "Last Airbender" sets

I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books, but through popular culture I know all about the storylines. I can see why making the (URL) Harry Potter sets> was a good idea for LEGO. Everyone knows about Star Wars. Millions of fans worldwide but (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.year.2006, FTX)

Ideas and Suggestions for LEGO S@H

The LEGO Ambassadors have been asked to provide some suggestions to the LEGO Shop at Home people about what types of things we AFOLs would like to see offered or available from S@H. This is a good opportunity for you to make a serious suggestion (...) (21 years ago, 23-Sep-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.market.shopping, FTX) !!

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

This is my final plea and I will be silent about this (I will post the results though) from now on. Lugnet isn't filled with little children. There are thousands, I think, of members here who have jobs, families, children, spouses and other things (...)   Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

I know this is posted to many many groups, but I really need people from all interests to help take this survey. There are so many members here at Lugnet yet I feared too few ever check the home page or .general. So, I plea with all of you to allow (...)   Re: Bricklink frustration

(...) Since I posted I've been thinking about that. I doubt he'd let two rules slide, but If I could bump up the order to $10 he might consider shipping to England.   Re: 10170 TTX Intermodal Double-Stack Car Preview

(...) They don't know about it? (...) If there were a web page we could point retailers to (or a onesheet we could print out and give them???) that might help. (21 years ago, 3-May-05, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: 10170 TTX Intermodal Double-Stack Car Preview

(...) If those are the only restrictions, I wonder why more shops don't use this program? There are some anecdotes that suggest that the old retailer program was designed for the big box stores, and thus many small retailers swore off Lego. If (...)   Re: 10170 TTX Intermodal Double-Stack Car Preview

(...) The Small Retailer Program does exist, and retailers can get access to a subset of the LDMI item list. People at LEGO's SRP are very willing to work with retailers, but there are still S@H exclusives, I believe, that small retailers can't (...) (21 years ago, 3-May-05, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: 10170 TTX Intermodal Double-Stack Car Preview
