| (...) Don't you mean (Current down the drain) set? :) Great for parts, but worth waiting until it comes on at even more of a discount. James P (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| | Re: Control Lab $145 U.S. @ Pitsco
|
| (...) Most are common small elements such as pins, bushes, 1 x 2 tiles, etc. The only relatively rare elt in this set is 10 conveyor links. Another consideration for supplementary Control Lab parts would be the $12.99 set in their paper catalog (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| (...) I'll go along with Larry and Maggie too. (And I also happily buy Diagon Alleys at full price.) In the US, the cheapest price/piece easily available is 2 cents per brick for the new red bucket available at Walmart, KMart, Target and others. (...) | | Re: Improved Pick-A-Brick packing
|
| (...) I guess in an ideal world I want to buy small parts by volume and large ones by weight, then. :-) (ideal for us I mean) But if you only get 100 2x4s for 13 USD, that's 13 cents a brick. That's way over my threshold for 2x4s, a common part, (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

| | Re: FOTW; Greatest Lego Discout Ever ?
|
| I got <set:3038 Spider Slayer> for $19.98 (Canada, about $14 US) but it was opened. Oh well, seems like all of the parts were there. The fact that the motor hadn't been stolen seems like a big hint that nothing was. It's a pretty good cheap (...) (24 years ago, 30-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| (...) I guess I never posted when I got one (over a week ago) from S@H. They definitely are rather limited in their LEGOness, but they do use the same new linkage as the new Alpha Team sets (but all the parts are highly sculpted). I purchased (...) They had two kinds of wheels (larger ones that mount to (...) (19 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.orl, lugnet.market.shopping)
