I called up the credit card company and it seems Walmart were
persistently using
a variety of incorrect expiration dates for the card. I think all is
sorted out now (though I'll wait till I have the sets and the credit
card
statement before I'm really sure).
This was probably partly my fault - I had entered the wrong date for one
of
the orders and immediately phoned them up to correct it, which seems to
have
thrown the system into disarray. I don't know how it could have led to
them
entering a different wrong date for another order though...
