I've been desperate for a sale since x-mas... this has been the first i've seen
in 3 or so months on any larger scale. I'm a bit choosey, i know that i'm going
to buy it anyway, so i might as well wait until i can get it at half price. I
don't get to real stores very often, so i have to wait for online sales...
i've been told that in jan-feb-mar people tend to spend more, so there are less
sales... then sales pick up around easter, then drop off again until summer,
when people arn't busy buying things, they're busy doing summery things... then
school starts (for the youngin'), no sales for a while until the whole holiday
fiasco begins again...
sometimes, i can't can't wait for a sale (destroyer droid is a fine example) and
i just have to have it now... but i try, i really really try (tell that to my
husband, ha ha)...
my advice: try to get them cheaper, you know you're going to buy it anyway, why
not get it for 1/2 price? you can spend the rest of the money you save on even
more lego...

| I've been astounded lately by the number of sales at various stores carrying LEGO toys. And, quite frankly, it's been pretty hard on my wallet. Granted, I just came out of my Dark Ages, but it seems that every time I'm ready to settle back and (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
