Just as a heads up to all of the folks that ordered the Shuttles and other items from the Entertainer during the confusion a few weeks ago... I ordered several Shuttles but then cancelled my order after the price correction. I looked at my credit (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Did you get this resolved? Just curious. It seems like the credit card company should be willing to resolve this. (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

To me it seems like a fair course of events (between the credit card and myself that is). One day they exchanged currency a for currency b. The next day they converted currency b back into currency a. It would have been better for me if the order (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

From what I know about credit card companies (from my mother working the phones for a credit card company), I (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Because they shouldn't have processed the charge in the first place (IMO). It's probably true that the credit card company would probably not take an actual loss anyway so that probably makes more sense. Perhaps just a peeve of mine but I don't (...) (...) I've heard from a couple of friends of mine who run online computer "stores" that their merchant agreements specifically forbid charging before shipment. Wouldn't know that to see what some companies do, though. (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)
