(...) Update:I recieved one package today. It was for the order that had "recalculated" next to it. I placed the order on the 26th. My prior orders were placed on the 21st & 25th. (...) Yeah, I wished I could see the amount charged to my card on the invoice. I would think it to be in TRU's best interest to do this. (...) I think this is an interesting point because it exposes a (major?) loophole that TRU needs to fix. Actually, if you take the slip and product back to Toys R Us, you would not make money in that way, at least I don't think so. On a second sheet (...) TRU is going the way of Target, Walmart and KMart regarding their refunds w/o receipt. They have begun to issue plastic "gift cards" instead. Soon you will have to buy those instead of Geoffrey bucks if you want to give a gift certificate. There is (...) (25 years ago, 5-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) I like the gift cards a lot more than the paper certificates. Don't care for that "dormancy" clause, but then again, I doubt it would ever hurt me because the card would burn a hole in my pocket in far less than a year. As for the feel of (...)
