Any ideas or info?

In regards to Harry Potter, I too wondered why they only release 4 sets for the
movie, when in the past I believe that they have released a wider range of sets
(There are no small sets).  I further noticed that many places had the sets
listed as "web only" (Target only carried their special edition Durmtrang ship
in stores).

Some discussion that I have had have also left me to believe that it is not only
LEGO that has not produced much HP merchandise.  There seems to be a general
lack of merchandies all around for this movie.  Perhaps they over-licensed the
previous movies, and we are dealing with the backlash of manufactures and
retailers getting stuck with too much stuff.  (Much like what happened with The
Phantom Menace).

So, what is the speculation on what happened to Harry Potter sets? I was expecting large numbers of them to appear on retail shelves when the Goblet of Fire was released. My actual experiece was: KMART - small quantities of the Mermaid set Toys R Us (...) (19 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.harrypotter)
