Clearly no one should be using reporters as sources for proper English usage.
There should not be any presumption of competency there, just because they write
for a living.

I remember a number of people calling in to let her and her editor know that
you cant say Legos. It is Lego Bricks.
Oh well does it really matter as long as you enjoy the end result.
