Re: Star Wars Sets on sale at Target...

This is in all Wisconsin Targets on US 41. Somebody had shopped the Oshkosh area, but I found some in Appleton and made my "Yoda Quota." I hope Jonathan Lopes has big ideas for squash-colored bricks! I hear Grandpa down in the basement using power (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.wi)

  Special collections at S@H

I just noticed this morning this new section. They put all together the special kits and some new cool kits. I think it is one of the only way to save when buying directly from them, since the weekly specials are so bad... Yanick Fournier (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Found while moderating

(...) Hi Lar, they have done so late in last year. There was this hall next to the Billund Legoland park. But in the park and in the parking area there was no hint for this sales place to be found (at least I have not noticed anything). I was in the (...) (...) I wasn't planning on making a killing; I don't even have a brinklink store! But thinking out loud, I wonder if TLC should consider utilising Bricklink as a channel to market for bulk bricks.   Re: Found while moderating

(...) What DO they "do"? Are there some kind of odd items for sale from the factory? I have some business travel to Copenhagen coming in August (50% likely). How far is Billund from there?   Re: Target AT clearance

(...) Some Target stores are outside this "curve." I landed three 8358 (Muaka and Kane-Ra) sets for $15.14 each at Detroit-area Targets (those who are local, you know which ones they were); all the old AT stuff went to 50%-off last Wednesday.   1349 for $44 - 75% off! (was Vision Command - Media Play)

I visited the Appleton WI store yesterday and they had a few sets on 25% and 50% off. Best purchase was 1349 - LEGO Studios Steven Spielberg MovieMaker Set which was marked at half price. When it was rung up at the register, I was actually 75% off! (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Target AT clearance

(...) In Princeton, NJ I noticed much of the same. The only thing I bought was a Bionicle Nui Rama for $8.40! Since the new big Bionicle sets (which actually look kind of cool) are on the shelves at Wal Mart, I'm assuming that Target is getting (...)   Re: Target AT clearance

The Target I visited today (NW Denver) had some Alpha Team sets at 50%, specifically the 6772 Alpha Team Cruiser. I think the cylinders are pretty interesting ((URL) also saw some Bionicle sets on 30%, 50%, and 66%(!) off. 8538 Muaka and Kane-ra, (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Target AT clearance

SF Bay area, CA, USA - most of the smaller first-year Alpha Team sets went to 30% off around here this week. One Target also marked down the underwater Ogel base, but another one hasn't. (I didn't notice any other underwater AT markdowns.) Kevin (22 years ago, 30-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: One upside of the whole folder moderation mess....
