If no one else has noticed it yet, KB Kids is having a "blowout sale" (Today only) on the "City Center: Highway Construction" set. I just ordered it! :) It was never one of my favorites, but for $30, why not ?? (Regularly $80!) Shipping is a little (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.town)

Fun thing I get to do because of Lego...

I never thought that by buying Lego anything like this would ever happen... I mustered up the money to go make a purchase of some sets I'd been eyeing at my local KB toys. So I went into the Westcor shopping mall and walked to the store. I (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.az)

  S@H specials?

Hi! S@H people are preparing something very big for July or what? For several weeks now, the specials are so bad...! It seems there is 2 options: prices so good that I can't have the time to put my hands on, or nothing interesting at all. At least, (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Lego.com Web Specials

(...) Just noticed this section for the first time today myself. I usually don't do my shopping on the website but I was looking for the set numbers for some new items that aren't in the regular catalog yet. I didn't know if this section was common (...)   Lego.com Web Specials

Hello, I don't know if this has been discussed yet: There is a new section with 'web specials' (discounted---not much) items on lego.com. Interesting: UK has switching tracks discounted. Best, Jonathan (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Price Cuts at Target

(...) I think this price is outrageous for the 3409. They have version II out, and anybody who spends $39.00 (US) on a new one (old version, that is) isn't getting a good deal. I guess I should feel special, there are tons and tons of them still in (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Price Cuts at Target

(...) [snip] (...) [snip] (...) I found the prices you list above at my local Target in New Jersey about ten days ago. I haven't been back since to confirm, but at least it's a datum suggesting wider than your localle. Chris (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Sneaky Target?

they did the same thing with me. i think the problem is that only the technic jango and bounty pursuit were marked off, and including the picture of jango's slave 1 was a mistake. but i stood my ground and got my 50% off slave. i felt bad for target (...)   Price Cuts at Target

Hi, Yesterday I noticed the following LEGO sets at discounted prices at my local (Charlotte, NC) Target: 3409 LEGO Soccer Championship Challenge $38.88 (until 7/8). HARRY POTTER (prices good until 6/15). 4701 Sorting Hat $5.44. 4712 Troll on the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Sneaky Target?

Just wanted to plug an interesting observation in for the old Jango Slave I for 24.88 at Target. I finally stopped last night to pick it up with my raincheck. I brought along my copy and the one sent to me in the mail. Before I went into the store I (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Any good buys

Any members from Missouri? I am going to be there in 2 weeks and traveling to Saint Joe. Are there any good places to buy Lego's in the bread basket? (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: NYC Trawling for fun and Lego

Oops... So you found it at THAT Target. All I got was a red sticker just now. Last Saturday that spot was empty and labeled $99, now it's Mindstorms $49 and empty except for 4561. Jonathan reports no goodies at the other Target aside from $9 6775s, (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: NYC Trawling for fun and Lego

Jonathan, Erik et al: I happened upon a Target in our area last night and found... no sh*t... a Mindstorms 2.0 for $49.99. Nothing missing, box wasn't opened. Nothing else on sale. I couldn't believe my friggin' eyes. And yes, I bought it. Wanted (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Free Childs ticket to Legoland CA with with the purchase of selected LEGO® toys at WalMart.

I am assuming this is really only for the WalMarts here in southern California but I just got an email from Lego stating that when you buy Lego products with the special sticker on it you will get a free kids ticket to LL CA. Here is what the deal (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.us.ca.la, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd)
