Re: Tired of Paying for Dirty, Discolored and Damaged LEGO

(...) Here's a different perspective: I recently received somewhat of a windfall - a number of older sets, mostly from themes I have no interest in. I want to sell them on Bricklink to support my other Lego purchases. Being a first-time seller, how (...) (22 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: What is Appropriate Feedback? (follow-up to "Dirty, Discolored & Damaged" posting)

Thanks to everyone who responded to my posting about “Dirty, Discolored and Damaged LEGO.” I appreciate the comments that let me know I’m not alone in my disgruntlement over paying for parts in this condition. It was also interesting to me to see (...) (22 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

The first was a 4 pound lego collection from Austria (Ebay, $36.70) (description read: 2 kg lego, bricks, plates, blue rails, a motor and a flute), that contained the entire 118 electronic train (...) (...) Sorry Mark, Your purchase was a FOTL not a FOTY. I just hope I luck into a deal half this good in my lifetime! Bert Waters (22 years ago, 20-Apr-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: My 2002 FOTY

Holy crap, that is CRAZY. Barely a FOTY, let me know if anybody else can top this for FOTC. Most of a yellow castle for $2 aint shabby, and $6 for a Monorail is tear-inducing, but all that stuff (mint condition?! This is rediculous!) for $500 is (...)
