  Re: Zany Brainy Sale

The 20% off soccer sets seems to apply to the website as well, but the others aren't listed. They had about 5 soccer sets, including the women's team when I checked. Troy "Brad Mittelstedt" <viffer@cox.net> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: a buy at Kmart

The stores that were on the list have already been turned over to the liquidators, so yes they are actually closing. The rate of discount will depend on which liquidator is handling the store and how the stuff is selling. Troy "Jeremy Scott" (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Spider-Man in San Diego

For San Diego area AFOLs I just picked up the Spider-Man action studio and Green Goblin sets at the Poway Wal-Mart. US$28.88 and US$6.97 respectively. I expected them to be $35 and $10. They had a few more of each as of about 6:30pm tonight (3/25). (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Zany Brainy Sale

(...) A few blocks to you. Thanks for the tip. Swung by and picked up two 5935's and two 6520's (...) Humm ... this may go a little furthor. Here in Omaha, they had 20% all soccer Lego sets. (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: a buy at Kmart

I was unaware that there is any sales/clearances going on at any K-mart stores. What stores in AZ did you raid? Is it for sure that those stores are even closing? (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Wal-Mart, Ep II sets, and so forth.

(...) Darn it . . .. I was just going to check Princeton tonight, seeing as how it's not far from my job in Trenton. Oh well. At the very least, it's only four weeks until they should be available in all the stores. -Jonathan (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: LSAH out of tan 2X4 packs

(...) I tried to order the 3730 a week ago and encountered this problem. However, a possible workable solution if you do not need tons of 2 x 4 tan bricks is to get the UCS Yoda set which comes with large numbers of tan bricks including 2x4, 2x3, (...)   Re: Wal-Mart, Ep II sets, and so forth.

(...) Nor have I. Maybe tonight. Princeton WalMart is loaded with SpiderMan and Jedi Starfighters (but I guess that's not early?). I heard a rumor that I could get Jango there, but found none. Chris (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Kohls Sale (15% off)

(...) Honestly, it is pretty mixed. Some soccer, some LoM, some Potter, Racing, etc. Kind of interesting though is that they are not heavily shopped, meaning older sets do exist but your milage may vary. Another nice thing about Kohls is that they (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Wal-Mart, Ep II sets, and so forth.

(...) Thanks for the advice! I don't know if I'm going to take it, though. According to mapquest it's over 50 miles and almost two hours from my house in Philadelphia. I work in Trenton, however, which is a little closer, so I'm still debating it. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Wal-Mart, Ep II sets, and so forth.

(...) I haven't checked Manville yet, so that might be a possibility. It's off the beaten path, and I think it's part of the same "district" as the two spoiler stores I visited. Also: Of course it's quick. I live to serve. :D best LFB (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) LFB -- If you don't mind my asking, what section of Jersey are you in? I've checked five Wal-Marts in central and south Jersey the past few days and came up completely empty handed.   Re: WalMart & Legos

  a buy at Kmart

I went to the Kmart here in Arizona that is being closed and thought that I might get some deals on what was there. Well the shelves were bare. A lot of the same sets all over the toy section. But 10% is 10% and since I need parts this was a great (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  ?Best Price 6762 Fort Legoredo?

Just a question? (URL) about to drop *$172.50 Canadian on a 6762 Fort Legoredo. I know this is comparably cheaper than buying from Shop@Home, but does anyone know if a better price exists. I don’t really wanna take my chances and wait till T‘R’Us (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.western, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.general)
