  Let the Target-hunting begin.

Hello, just a friendly note that my local Target begins the first rung of Lego clearance this Sunday at 8 AM. I was just heading out the doors a little after close as the overnight stockers were beginning to label the sets, but I did pause long (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: -AFOL Rivalries-

(...) No. Were it that the "good sales" should be so easy to find... Target actually "cycles" discount levels; in past years, these cycles were every 14 days (IIRC), starting on a Wednesday morning, usually the last Wednesday or two before (...) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maggie Cambron" <mcambron@pacbell.net> (...) I've checked out a couple local Targets and i'm getting the impression that the clearance around here won't be as good as it has been the last two years. :( The reason (...)   January S@H Catalog

I received a new (January 2002) S@H catalog in an order today. It has the new Alpha Team sets on the cover and Dan Siskind's Blacksmith Shop on the back. It also has a few other new things inside, notably the Yoda sculpture on page 21. The Yoda (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: -AFOL Rivalries-

(...) Shame on you Richard N. If you had cross-posted to .shopping (which I have now graciously done) you would be more likely to get pointers from the real pro's. Luckily for you I happened to notice this post. Lindsay's right about being there (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Current Online Sales ...

I did a quick browse this morning and put together the current sales with some discount codes for those that haven't spent enough money yet: (URL) me, as a castle-head, the highlight is the Royal Joust at TRU for $15.00. Plus save $5.00 of $35.00. (...) (23 years ago, 22-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: LEGO kiosk in Concord, CA exists

Found the kiosk inside Stoneridge Mall near Nordstrom and NordicTrack. They have 8009 R2-D2 ($29.99), 7119 cloud car ($14.99), 7139 ewok ($18.99), 7200 Final Duel I (~$10), 7203 Jedi Defense I (~$10). Gasp!... As tempting as it was to stuff my (...)   Re: LEGO kiosk in Concord, CA exists

Gary, Any info you can give about the store in Stoneridge? Looking at the online directory, it doesn't have anything about a LEGO kiosk. Thanks, Vui (...) (23 years ago, 22-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  New Parts All Over!

(...) Don't forget the "compatible" pieces in virtually all of the Alpha team sets--in black in the $10 yellow sub, for certain. This is a good year for parts with Alpha Team; I gave last year's selection a miss, but this is a really great cluster, (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.market.shopping)
