My local Tuesday Morning is opening tomorrow morning (Tuesday, 7 August) after being closed for about a month. Supposed to have been restocking with great new bargins. No info about new Lego product, but thought I should mention this. This store has (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I go the low-down Re: Atlanta, GA area AFOLs:

(...) Arrrgh! My favorite TRU's been discovered! I've pulled from its rich bounty for niegh on 3 years now - last time I was there I got some sets that were marked down to 0.01 - about 7 months ago. Can't really top that one, I guess. They had (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Walmart markdowns - Newburgh, NY

David: I checked my Walmart and didn't see those deals at all. The battle droid was even $30, not $20. Would it be possible to send me 1349 and/or 7190? I'll paypal you (or send a check or money order) the money. KEith (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Shopko Soccer Bus

I was at Shopko yesterday and saw that the American Team Bus, #3411, was marked down to $6.19, originally $20. They had a bunch of them at my Shopko, and I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see them marked down even more in a couple weeks (they were (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Target Clearance and then some...

(...) My local Target was out of these, but I printed out the webpage listing the price, and the manager at my local Wal-mart matched it. You never know until you ask! Henry (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I go the low-down Re: Atlanta, GA area AFOLs:

(...) Oh man your killing me. I love buying the open box stuff because you can get some GREAT deals and usually everything is there. This sounds like the kind of store I could spend an entire day in. Wish I lived closer, but being on the West Coast (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Target Clearance and then some...

Here's the scoop on what I've seen, and what a friend pointed me to, in addition to my last post on Moviemaker, Fire HQ, and others at one local Walmart. I'm not interested in shipping any sets for interested parties, I have enough work shopping for (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I go the low-down Re: Atlanta, GA area AFOLs:

Opps. Other things they had that I forgot about. For those into Rock Raiders, they still had some numbers of these sets. And for the Artic fans among us, yes there were still sets to be had. The soccer sets were mostly limited to the large soccer (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: I go the low-down Re: Atlanta, GA area AFOLs:

I forgot to mention that they had the 7181 and 7191 large Tie Fighter and Large X-Wing collector's sets. Some of the boxes were slightly damaged, but they had either 2 or 3 of each set. One other jewel, they had the 7090 Millennium Falcon. Only on (...) (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
