Re: Bulk Brick sales at LEGOLAND

In lugnet.market.shopping, David Schilling writes: <Snip> (...) <Snip> I can't answer you why the 1x12 Yellow's are $6.99 because they should probably be $8.99 also. However I assume the price difference is for two reasons. First of all in the space (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: How safe is PayPal?

Brad, Look at your credit card statements, do they show an extended zip code (+4)? If so, you won't be able to use Paypal until you call your bank and have them change it to -0000 because Paypal has a verification system which can't recognize more (...)   Re: How safe is PayPal?

Brad, I have never had a problem with it, in the 1+ year I have used it. In fact, my business had not had any problems with credit cards acrtivities yet either, or paypal. So it is safe, as far as i amn concerned. Some people have problems with it, (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  How safe is PayPal?

Hi, I'm starting to look at making Brickbay purchases, and it looks like PayPal might be faster and more convenient than sending a personal check (and waiting for it to arrive and then clear). Does this seem to be a safe, reliable means of payment? (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Oatmeal promo in Northern California?

(...) Better deal at Costco. $0.1775/pckg as opposed to $0.1925/pckg at Albertson's. (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Oatmeal promo in Northern California?

For all you oatmeal eaters out there, Costco sells a 45 pack for $7.99, better than the $3.85 Albertson's wants for 10 packs. Rose Raymond Flournoy wrote in message ... (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Quaker Oatmeal LOM offer - scans online

(...) Well, and it's not like you don't get to eat the oatmeal, which, while a little on the sweet side, has made a nice temporary change in my breakfast routine-- variety is the spice of life, after all. :) On the other hand, it also doesn't look (...)   Re: Quaker Oatmeal LOM offer - scans online

(...) Just got the Mania mag today, and this offer is on page 4, with an envelope! Approx retail value $5.99. that's a lot of oatmeal to save $4 ;-) of course, it is an "exclusive" Milissa (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.space)

RE: Final Round of Target Clearance.

Here's some cheese to go with your whine. The nearest target to me is 1.5+ hours away. ;-p BEN G And David already cleared those out ;-) Thanx, Mark Millére LUGnet # 525 Visit Milissa's LEGO store, Millére's Spares (URL) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Yep. You could head a little west and clean out Mobile and the Big Easy. Mississippi should be ripe for the pickings, as I havn't been out there yet. Ray (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Final Round of Target Clearance.

I really do miss the turnpike.... But that's another story. Here in the Milwaukee area there are only 2 Targets and for the 2nd week in a row there are NO!! markdowns. I mean nothing at all. Last week there was 1 Primo set in the clearance isle and (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Final Round of Target Clearance.

I live in CA, which SHOULD take 12+ hours to traverse N-S at the speed limit. Yet I seem to make the 450 miles from SF to LLC in 7 hours or less every time ;-) I've also made it from OH to CA in 2.5 days including a breakdown that blew half a day (...) (...) Oh go for it Tom ;) We can meet at 8am when K-mart (or WM or target, etc) opens up and have coffee while counting our finds <lol> In fact, some of the WMs are open 24/7.   Re: Bulk Brick sales at LEGOLAND

(...) Ok, this got my curiosity: how many 2x4s are there in a pound ? I took a tub of red 2x4s and measured them onto one of my scales (better than 1/10 oz accuracy). It took 101 2x4 bricks to make 8 oz. So Legoland is selling them for approx (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.theory)
