Re: When Does Toys-R-Us set up their clearance tables?

(...) The TRUs in Silicon Valley have large wire bins (~ 1 cubic m/yard) that are in the main aisles year-round. A few months back, my FOTM was a Battle Droid in a box that looked like it had been dragged all the way from Enfield. Twice. I decided (...) (24 years ago, 27-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Target clearance...any other good sales?

(...) I was in the Target on 28th in Kentwood (Grand Rapids) MI and didn't see all the items you mentioned on clearance. That Target looked like it got hit with heavy last minute shopping. So Target may be managing reductions regionally or store by (...) (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Target clearance...any other good sales?

Stopped in at a Target (Salem, NH) over lunch and saw that they had several LEGO sets on clearance. The clearance prices were somewhere around 30% off. Among the sets I saw were: SWEp1 MTT ~$35 SWC Slave-1 ~$12 RR Minifig Pack ~$4 SWC Mill. Falcon (...) (24 years ago, 26-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

When Does Toys-R-Us set up their clearance tables?

At my local Toys-r-Us there are 6 of the 7191 X-wing fighters in boxes that are EXTREMELY thrashed. I don't want to pay their current $112 price for sets in this condition, and am waiting for them to appear on the remaindered table. Does anyone (...)   Re: Legoland California Gift Box model

(...) Yes, the only way you can pick one up is at the breakfast. You can sign up at Guest Services. The breakfast itself is in the Fun Town restaurant. The Gift box model is definitely nice, but I VERY much suggest that you assemble it while eating (...)   Re: Yet another Christmas Sale

(...) Could someone forward this e-mail to me at dwspeck@us.ibm.com? I received a link from Zany - however, I only received raw HTML and when I copied and opened it only showed their home-page (not a sale or coupon link to be found). Thanks, Dave (24 years ago, 23-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Yet another Christmas Sale

(...) There's some Lego on the shelves on my local Target but some of it is already marked 30% off. I'm holding on for bigger sales though, the Target I was at today was near empty. There are going to be some VERY large after Christmas sales this (...) (24 years ago, 23-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Yet another Christmas Sale

ARgh. I don't like Target now. If you search for 'LEGO' only it brings up the evil clone Best-Lock sets first. (24 years ago, 23-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
