Re: eToys shipping rates - yuck!

(...) It depends on what you buy, and how many. (...) I assume you bought either the Lightsaber Duel or the Droid Starfighter?-- regularly $5.99? Well, if you're paying $2.99 + $.95 for shipping, you're still saving 33% over the retail price. In (...) (24 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Update - Re: E-Mail Problems - AGAIN

Just wanted to let everyone know that while Telocity is STILL messed up and I am still not able to send out e-mail through them, I do now have an alternative method for sending outgoing e-mail.   HTO Soccer Sets at Ames

I stopped by Ames this afternoon to use a 30% off coupon on a Destroyer Droid. As I was looking over the somewhat poor selection, I noticed at the end of the isle these small Soccer sets. I soon realized that they were the HTO sets 3412-3414. They (...) (24 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Mill. Falcon, UCS X-Wing & TIE 20% off at TRU!

(...) Nah, if I get one I'd get it to build and display. And I like the X-Wing more. But I doubt I'll get one - I'm going to save up my GC's until I can get a PS2 for free. (24 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shell Ferrari $15 if you have a Charge card!! but....

(...) Do a search for "shell" in the lugnet database: the 1998 ones (with set #s in the 2500 range) seem to cover the small ones. I *think* I saw a <set:2554> in the station I stopped at. I know they had both <set:2555 the Belville Swing> for $10 (...) (24 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Hrmmm, dunno if these prices will also be available at the Amazon/TRU site, but if they are, not only is Amazon doing free shipping for orders over $100 right now, you can probably use Amazon gift certs to pay for them.   New LEGO Center in CHICAGO

A while back on lugnet someone posted a link saying that a LEGO store (imagaination center or outlet) was going to be opening in Chicago this fall. Does anyone know if this has happened? If so where in Chicago? Thanks (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: eToys shipping rates - yuck!

As for kbkids.com, I placed several orders last night, and there was NO shipping charges on any of them. Of course, you'd never know this until going to the checkout screen, as that is the only place it came up. Now, if I actually GET what I ordered (...)   Re: eToys shipping rates - yuck!

Yeah, if you go back through the posts a couple months you can read where I complained about this too. I think it was around the time I was buying multiples of the Naboo Swamp set, and it was on sale, and the shipping ended up costing more than the (...)   Re: eToys shipping rates - yuck!

You think that's bad, at KB toys online it's $3.00 base plus a $1.50 for each item shipped. It's only really worth it if you buy a couple of big sets at the same time with a decent discount. They have 20% off right now but their prices are 20% (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.market.shopping)

  eToys shipping rates - yuck!

I just went to eToys.com to check out the lego-SW sale they have. I was really excited over the prices, some really good sets are 50% off, and I rushed to order them - seemed like a *great* deal. That is, until I reached the checkout and saw the (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.market.shopping)

Pneumatic Parts! (was Re: Split of 5218 (was Re: Lego US S@H))

Well, just like my beloved <set:5235>, the various pneumatic parts (5099, 5107, 5108, 5109, 5116, 5117) are no longer available.
