Re: Secret Agent Theme for 2001? (was: Re: New S@H Catalog)

(...) fix (...) I understand what you mean. (...) I admit that would have been a much cooler Spy Runner for sure. As it is though I like the idea of having a Spy Runner that looks like a stock twin prop-plane. Though I doubt TLC would use it as (...) Tom Stangl put pictures up a while back of the prototype at Kidvention. You can find them here: (URL) Lynch -I hope Tom doesn't mind that I put this link up, I looked it up using Lugnet's new search feature. ----- Original Message ----- From: "SRC" (...)   Re: Secret Agent Theme for 2001? (was: Re: New S@H Catalog)

(...) One thing that stands out here...the common US "secret agent" plane right now would be a OV10D, or a MC130 Herk...so, it being piston engined is no big deal. The WW2 eq. was the Lysander, which is a single engined piston plane... It helps that (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Re: Secret Agent Theme for 2001? (was: Re: New S@H Catalog)

(...) Hmm.. I just don't see it. To me, a secret agent should ooze "cool" and this li'l thing just doesn't, IMO. For reference, go watch the opening sequence of "Octopussy." That li'l plane that Bond zips around in was awesome. (Is that the same (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Re: Giant Minifig (was Re: New S@H Catalog - Pictures)

The "maxi-figs" you see in the picture are borrowed display models from the LEGO Outlet store. They are not built out of LEGO bricks at all, they're just very large mini-figs and work (joint wise)in the same way. Unforunatly the "maxi-figs" arent' (...)   Giant Minifig (was Re: New S@H Catalog - Pictures)

(...) Could someone from Georgia please enlighten me/us regarding those way cool "Maxifigs" (or whatever they're called) that they're holding... (URL) these (in the photo) the prototypes? Are instructions available for us to build our own? SRC (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Re: Secret Agent Theme for 2001? (was: Re: New S@H Catalog)

(...) Personally I like it the way it is (colors are a bit funky to me but I can fix that.) When I saw it I imediatly thought cool a twin prop-plane that is really a super-sonic spy plane. I would haver rather had a more built up plane than a small (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Re: Just wondering... (was: Re: New S@H Catalog - Pictures)

(...) A "-runner" is anybody trying to use speed and/or stealth to circumvent a blockade, border guards, or other force specifically trying to keep his cargo out. There are also gun-runners, rum-runners, cigarette-runners, ... They're available (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)
