Construction Site and Space Shuttles in MA

Just returned from a weekend trip home to MA. Made the trek up to the Construction Site in Waltham. This place has the best selection of Lego of any retailer (on-line or otherwise) that I've seen. They've got lots of Dacta sets available which I (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.loc.us.md.bal, lugnet.market.shopping)

  FAO Schwartz has gone nuts

There's an FAO Schwartz in the building where I work. Normally, FAO seems to have a mark up of 10-20% over Lego list price, whereas everyone else in town is about 10-20% below. I was passing by FAO today, and happen to check the price on SW Legos. (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: The ULITMATE LEGO Storage containers from Israel!!!!

I've seen ZAG containers in stores, but I'm not familiar with this particular style. It sounds very convenient, I'll have to find one and check it. Thanks for the recommendation.   Re: The ULITMATE LEGO Storage containers from Israel!!!!

Interesting topic. In future, instead of posting twice to .build and .market.shopping, consider one post to both places at once. Read helps on your news reader for how to do it. Saves wear and tear on your readers and keeps threads properly skeined. (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.build)

I am not sure if this is rare but the Zainy-brainy in Reston, VA has about 13 of the Technic 8277 Giant Model Sets for 40 dollars apiece. The last one of these i saw was several months ago.   Traveling to Stockholm - Shopping? Trading?

I have to go to a meeting in Stockholm in early July for a couple of days. I have a couple of questions for the local folks: 1) Where is the best place(s) to buy LEGO in Stockholm? 2) Were the World Cup sets sold in Sweden? If so, it is still (...)   Re: Where to buy in Rocky Mountain area?

(...) Toys R Us will usually have the sets that you are looking for, but you will pay more. I usually look for Wal-Mart or Shop-Ko.
