There's an FAO Schwartz in the building where
I work.  Normally, FAO seems to have a mark
up of 10-20% over Lego list price, whereas everyone
else in town is about 10-20% below.

I was passing by FAO today, and happen to
check the price on SW Legos.  Incredibly,
they are marked up 40-70% over list!

Mos Espa - US$130 instead of US$90     (44%)
Naboo Swamp - $15 instead of $10       (50%)
Light Saber Duel - $10 instead of $6   (67%)

jeeeeeeesh.
I feel sorry for a thoughtful
grandparent who might pick up a set for
their grandkid from this store.

Dave, They've gotta make a profit! Think about the rent they pay! You should have bought a set to help them out! -- Have fun! John ( ig88888888@stlnet.com ) remove NOSPAM: John's Lego Web Trade Page: (URL) wp,dm,rk,df++ fk-]++++(6035) (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)
