Sales at Potomac Mills... the Store week o' June 12

Despite all the madness over LEGO Direct, I figured I should call the Buffster to see what's up for this week (specially since I didn't think LD would have an open phone line any time in the near future). specials 5874 belville baby hospital $12.99 (...)   Re: bulk ordering is here!

(...) You're absolutely right. Thin walls were around many years before they were ever used in a train. However, I would rather bulk order thin walls than train windows. What would I do with 300 train windows? I could do lots of things with 300 thin (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: bulk ordering is here!

(...) Just to clarify, these: (...) are *not* Train windows. They are thinwalls. It so happens that they were used in 4561. But then, 4561 is barely a train anyway. This: (URL) this: (URL) train windows I ain't complaining. We have a great source of (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Hydro Search Sub (6180) for only $15 (Regular $50) at WallMart!

Sshhh! If you don't rush out to buy them, sometime later this summer they are likely to get tired of them and drop the price to $10 or less... (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Etoys having a sale on some sets

(...) Watch out for the 95 cents per item shipping: in California, (where somebody recently managed to sneak in a rule applying sales tax to the shipping charges!!) this one winds up being only about a quarter less than what you'd pay at Target or (...)   Re: toytime.com 2586 freebie

(...) Well, if you'd like to swap that for a MISB 2586, let me know: my minifigs operate as an anarcho-syndicalist cooperative, and have no desire for a king. (Actually, there are enough interesting pieces in the throne that I may want to keep it, (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: toytime.com 2586 freebie

(...) My package also arrived on Wednesday. It was a pleasant surprise, because I'd never received any confirmation (EMail or a listing on their Web site's Order Status page) beyond the initial order number. Since they seem to be shutting down, I'd (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  toytime.com 2586 freebie

I got my toytime.com Lego sale items today. Inside the large box was a very nice bonus, 2586, a "Chess King" for lack of a name. Anybody else receive this? (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Hydro Search Sub (6180) for only $15 (Regular $50) at WallMart!

"Brad Hamilton" <bhamilto1@home.com> wrote in message news:Fw4C9p.72p@lugnet.com... (...) This was discussed not to long ago. I too found this discount at Wally World, with TONS of them on the shelf. The ones here are actually imported. I am not (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Hydro Search Sub (6180) for only $15 (Regular $50) at WallMart!

I just found set 6180 for only $15 at the WallMart in Foothill Ranch, Ca. They had at least 10 more after the two I bought (there are more above the shelf). This is one of the steepest LEGO discounts I've seen. It wasn't even marked as being on (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
