  Re: Pick-a-Brick sale!

(...) Nor do I. My wife asked but they did not know. No signs in the store so I guess it could end without warning. Now I wish that we would have had more time last night. If you buy 6 large cups at $12.95 (about $77.00) you will get another free. (...) (21 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Pick-a-Brick sale!

(...) I just visited the LEGO Store in Burlington MA yesterday and they were running this same promotion. You get a large PaB cup free with a $75 purchase, small cup with any $50 purchase. I don't know how long the promotion will be running, though. (...) (21 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Boston Area LEGO Store(s)

(...) Another way from Burlington Mall is to get on Rt 3, take it North to 495, take 495 South to I-290. Another way that might be more direct is to take Rt 2 out to 495 (I happen to know that from the junction of Rt 2 and 495 it's about the same (...)   4400 spotted at Fry's Electronics

There are stacks and stacks of the red tub (<set:4400>) at the Fry's Electronics in City of Industry, CA. Unfortunately, they're charging a rather ridiculous $29.95 each, so I didn't get any. On the other hand, they have the Technic Darth Vader and (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Fred Meyer Sale (Northwest)

I also found this sale today. I also discovered the new mini Star Wars sets (large ones) for $5.59. With all the discounts I paid $4 each. -- Rosemary Regner, PE R Squared Digital Media rose@r2dm.com www.r2dm.com "Kristine Birnbaum" (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Fred Meyer Sale (Northwest)

For those of you in the Northwest, Fred Meyer has a few promotions running. Taken all together, they do add up to some nice savings. They have a current promotion for 20% off all Lego (sorry didn't notice when that ends). I noticed that the Sports (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Boston Area LEGO Store(s)

(...) If you're going to be in Waltham, the closer of the two LEGO stores is at the Burlington Mall, which is probably no more than 15 or 20 minutes North of Trapelo Rd. (Except during rush hour.) From Waltham: Take I-95/Route 128 North to Exit 32B (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

  Re: Improved Pick-A-Brick packing

Thanks Brian, the photos help a lot! My feeble 3rd attempt is somewhat similiar in design. (URL) This stack is built in 15 layers. The photo shows each and the amount of bricks used. As with all cups, you start with 21-1x2's in the moat at the (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Boston Area LEGO Store(s)

Where are the new Boston area LEGO stores (I think there are two)? I am not super familiar with the area but may be in Waltham next Tuesday for a meeting. Our office is at the intersection of 128 and Trapello Road so I know my way between there and (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Improved Pick-A-Brick packing

(...) I have some pictures up now of how both packing methods fill the main part of the cup. Not shown are packing the bottom groove (18 1x2's) and the lid (4 2x4 bricks and 6 1x1's) as they are both straight forward. The moderated folder is (URL) (...)
