| Hey all, Don't know if this is a widespread thing, but one of my local Targets (Ottumwa, IA; Kevin, there's your shot) has over half their Lego slashed anywhere between 50-75% off. New SW, HP, Racers, NBA sets, Orient sets, etc. Highlight for me was (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| (...) It depends on the set. When the catalog lists them as "NAIAS", at that time they aren't available in any store (well, any store that's not owned by TLC). | Not available in any store, means that "not available in the standard dealer catalog". But enterprising people can always get that stock through other means, so it's most often a bit of a misleading statement. For example I stock quite a few 'not (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| (...) KMart and KBToys been doing it on and off for years. (Not that The Big K is a sound business model in any case...) For that matter, so have a lot of other stores. Ames used to do it.
