Well, that depends on the method of shipment, I'd say-- I've bought a couple
of things from the UK, and had them shipped airmail, which took about a week.
However, airmail costs a good deal more than surface mail.
Surface mail, on the other hand, was the reason I started shipping airmail
from anywhere outside the US... I waited about 7.5 weeks to get a package from
Germany, and never have done surface mail overseas since. I'm told
that "typical" shipping from Germany (UK could easily be different) takes
between 4 and 8 weeks...
Hope that helps (too bad it won't get the package any faster tho! it's a pain
to wait so long!)
