Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

(...) Thanks, Pete, for the quick response (and I didn't even LYK about this!). I like Selçuk's idea here, which is a lot like what I did with Pete. He paid the auctioneers himself, I just handled the shipping. Anyone interested can use their own (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.loc.au)

(...) And, of course, add me to the list of Happy Helpful Factors, be it Sopwith Camels or reissued Pirates. I don't smoke, either! :) I've never had a bad experience with NZ or AU transactions. all best Lindsay (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

(...) Here's my vouch for the helpfulness of Shiri re-shipping US to AUS items. Absolutely no problems at all, apart from Shiri getting a noseful of smoky second-hand Lego in one ebay item. The 'nice' thing to do is to throw something in for the (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

(...) Here is a suggestion. The buying side can order the sets they want from online US Lego shop, by using their own credit cards, and indicating the delivery address as the address of receiving side. Then the only problem would be sending the (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

Shiri, thank you for your kind offer. However, I feel that this is an issue that Lego (and especially Lego Direct) need to be made aware of. I have not bought any lego for a while now, mainly because there's not a sinlge thing on the shelf that (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

Like I said, I'd be happy to oblige. (I already emailed this to Martin but this is for anyone else interested, as well). However, just so you know: I will not order any sets before I get paid for the price of buying them. I have no extra cash to (...)   Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

Well if we can't get them any other way, I'm certainly going to take up your offer. I'm interested in 2 of the Octan Gas n' Wash Express sets, and 1 Pneumatic Front-End Loader. Let me know before you order etc. just in case LEGO decide to make them (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: the whole truth and nothing but the truth

(...) Well heck, I'm sure people would be willing to go through a little of the "trouble", either for free (if someone's really nice) or for a nominal fee. If you can't find anyone else, feel free to "trouble" me. In fact, if a bunch of people from (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: #1593 Classic Space : another one !!

Lol, ya John ~ calm down :) I just got my tax refund AND my student loan reimbursment check, so I am sitting pretty now. Plus, I am currently the high bidder (lets hope nobody else sees it and it gets no more bids!) OK, so everybody ~~ move on, (...) Some guy in Germany is selling another one. Again MISB. Is now at about $300. Did Lego start production again :) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Airmail vs Economy

(...) Well, we sent 6541 and 6542 Seports in the 6542 Original box from Croatia to Idaho (surface mail) and it arrived in about 25 days (right Rose?)!   Re: US to Ireland cost

(...) Find out the packed weight, then go to ... (URL) and select package. The likely shipping methods are 'Airmail - letter post' or 'Economy - letter post'. For very light packages, airmail is sometimes less expensive than economy. Ray (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  US to Ireland cost

Hello, Does anyone know how much it would cost to ship a small package (padded envelope with a few minifigs and small pieces) from the US (Michigan) to Ireland (Dublin)? And what are the shipping options? How long does it take? Thanks, Eric (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Airmail vs Economy

(...) 43 days seems reasonable to me. I once had a package of two full-sized and two over-sized [1] Lego sets sent to me via surface from Italy to the USA. It was during the December holiday package season and it arrived in 45 days of being sent. I (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Airmail vs Economy

Re: Is there *any* way to track a standard priority package?

(...) Well, I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt, so I don't wonder anything bad about the buyer, but on the other hand, I don't *need* the benefit of the doubt about whether I shipped it - I have proof that is good enough for me and probably (...)
