Thanks Heather! That bay waindow came to me in bed one night :-) and I built
it - just the window- the next day and then the rest of the house grew
around it. I believe that idea has been used by others too, as after I'd
finished I saw pics of some other houses using a similar method on one of
the train club layouts, I think it was. It is a little tricky: the bump-out
on one side is there because the hinges used for the bay window insist on
sticking out past the wall of the house!
