Hi all,
Ok,this is a little experiment.
Last year, there was some buying and selling going on at BF, but I didn't get
the impression it was so easy to find people to trade with. I don't think we
have yet worked out any organised way for people to trade stuff this year, but
I thought a useful place to start would be here. If people know what kind of
stuff they have to trade, and what kind of stuff they are looking for, then
perhaps people can arrange trades beforehand by email, and then locate and
identify each other once they get to BF and trade then.
So I'll start off with my list of stuff, and if you are interested in trading,
just add your post to this thread. This thread might potentially get quite
long, so to avoid taking up more space than necessary, please post followups to
buy.sell.trade only.
I have to trade away:
18 grey 32x32 roadplates of various kinds
a fair ammunt of 4.5 v train track in grey/dark grey. Some straight track, but
predominantly curved.
1 32x32 peg raised baseplate that came with the Dragonmaster's Castle 6082
(Firebreathing Fortess)
1 32x48 peg raised baseplate that came with the Royal Knights Castle 6090
8 droid escape pod curved wall pieces in white, with print.
about 10 misc Town minifigs
9 Ice Planet 2002 minifigs
a large handful of misc space minifigs
a handful of misc SW minifigs
3 blue Samurai minifigs
10 Aquanaught minifigs
11 SW episode I and II tan battle droids
I am looking for:
Pretty much any castle minifigs or minifigs which would look good in a castle
setting (peasantish SW, some pirates).
Specialised castle pieces, wall sections, doors, horse bardings etc...
(light) grey 2x2x3 and 2x1x3 slopes
grey SW escape pod curved wall pieces
bricks in grey, dark grey and tan
The raised baseplate that came with King Leo's Catsle (6098), or the similar
one in grey/dark grey which came with the rock raiders base.
I hope other people who are interested in trading at BF feel free to add their
trade and want lists to this thread, and please get in touch if you are
interested in trading with anyone who has already put up a list.

I liked how trading was done at BricksWest where there was an "official" time slot (which I seem to recall seeing in BrickFest's schedule also) and everyone set their stuff up on tables or on the floor (me who arrived late...). | For the Brick Bazaar that is scheduled on Sunday, I plan on bringing along a lot of the inventory that is currently available in my BrickLink shop Excess Brickage: (URL) leave my shop open until Thursday evening for anyone interested in checking out (...)
