Having "no pays" One in Five auctions is way too high for me.

Yeah!  I've not had it anywhere near that extent, but it is troubling.

Re-listing is a problem sometimes; the market value of the items sold can
drop signifacantly,

I wouldn't think that most LEGO is so speculative that the value would change
much over a few months.  Thought I did buy a shipment of 8880s from ets-dya and
of course so did everyone else and the price was down...but not too down.

An interesting anomaly in my auctions...Most of my deadbeats are on Star
Wars items.

Hmmm.  I wonder if they're SW people and not really LEGO people and we have a
claim to better folks?  Or maybe it's just an oddity.  Since my auctions are
parts I don't get to see stuff like that.  It would be odd indeed if people
bidding on green plates were the most likely to default on their obligation.

Overall, I have been especially satisfied by international bidders;  most of
my deadbeats are from the US.

I would say that my experience is that North Americans (that is buyers from
Canada and the US) are about the same.  I've only had one real problem with a
Canadian, but they make up a small (~10%) segment of my customers.  OTOH, I
have never, ever had a serious problem with a European.  to further
add to steriotypes ;-) it seems that Australians seem slow but steady.  They've
always paid, but sometimes it takes two months.

I wish you better look in your large auction this week

I really just need to figure out how to process the deadbeats and the slowbies
faster.  I'm not all burnt up about getting stiffed, but I am OK with
posting their identities.  That's the right I bought with my $.35 fees.

Chris
