  ebay auction and 12 years boy
 
Hi I just had a problem with an auction I held on ebay and won by a 12 years boy that logically can not honour his bid! No, I do not want to be paid by him but I want to be sure this will not happen in future So this want to be an appeal to the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

I'm not sure what opertae means but it seems clear from context. Hmm... I thought eBay was trying to take steps to prevent that. Recent new members have to supply a credit card, which of course could be nicked from daddy's wallet long enough to copy (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

(...) I dunno about that but the first thing that screams at you, written in huge print on the 'become a member' page is that you must be 18 or older to join. (...) I don't think there's any question about intent on eBay's part. They don't want members who cannot enter into enforceable contracts. Marco, One cannot "make parents" do anything, at least not in the US. I hope you at least posted negative feedback, and filed with eBay for a refund because the buyer backed out. This still leaves you with a ruined auction, unless you wish to settle (...) (25 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.auction)
