It appears that for the buyer, this set was one of the last 2 sets need to complete his space collection. Given that the set is supposedly rare, I can understand paying a premium for the set in order to complete the collection. I wouldn't have paid (...) (25 years ago, 7-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

I think the price is OK. I know who bought it; he seems to be cornering the market.:-P I only know three people who have this set (with or without box), including the new owner of this one. To date, I think only about TWO or THREE of these sets have even been mentioned on Lugnet or RTL. It is VERY rare. $128 worth of rare, heck NO, imnsho.
