Nobody called, what is going on here!  Sorry, I have those already, and
posted my want list to the buy sell trade group yesterday.  Those prices
aren't that out of line (for straight sales, although a little high for
opening bids in an auction), but I am saving for the sets on the want list.
If that 6074 is in a Canadian or Japanese box, I might do it, so someone
call Goottara (who is that anyway?) and find out.

besides the fact whoever put them up the 6085 has the wrong picture,
wrong name or wrong number.. you can't even be sure what you're bidding
on.. beside the set not being worth that much anyway..
I guess if someone wants them bad enough, they'd pay it. though I'd
rather spend that 300.00 or 250.00 on a Guarded Inn.. and I still
wouldn't pay that much for that!

Thanks for looking!  Excellent selection of rare sets.  Check them out • at:

Auction Description Currently Bids Status Current End [PDT]
#1597 Castle Value Pack, New  $50.00
#6074 Black Falcon fortress. New and Mint  $300.00
#6085 Black Knight's castle. New and Mint.  $250.00

This is why the "collector" name being associated with Lego makes me
sick.

Those opening bids are ridiculous.

$50 for the 1597 is stupid, and $10 shipping?  $10 might be good for
shipping internationally, but not domestic.

Guess we'll have to wait and see if anyone else thinks these opening
bids are a little on the offensive side.

(...) Even at straight sale prices they're a little whacked. No, a LOT whacked. $300 for 6074? Gimme a break. (25 years ago, 3-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.auction)
