So, anyone else get spammed by this guy recently? I got an unsolicited
auction announcement emailed to me. Very annoying. And hopefully from RTL not here.
Perhaps we need a buy-sell-FAQ?

I have sold a few items and I am concerned about what is proper and what is spam as far as e-mail notification to previous bidders/buyers, postings and follow-ups, etc. I have seen the (...) | Yes, I received one too. Possibly RTL, especially when you consider that there have been the occasional, though fortunately rare, auction updates containing e-mail addresses of participants *without* those participants usual anti-spam measures in (...) | Looks like I caused a bit of a brouhaha Tuesday. Maybe it's time to say a few words. To restate the events, I sent an invitation to my current auction to a number of RTL participants. My intent was to allow those with sporadic news access a chance (...) (26 years ago, 16-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.auction)
