  6037 Witch's Windship

I'm really selling this, mint/near-mint in box. If the system shows any glitches, I might pull it and offer it elsewhere or offer it again after the problems are fixed. (URL) it out! Mike: How's that? A real auction! Ciao! (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) If you do find a legitimate problem please let me know. I definitely want things to work right, and if I find errors that I can fix now, before people really start using it, it'll be quite a bit easier to take care of than after tons of (...)   Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) Ahhh. Much better. OK, so it doesn't take much to make me happy. :) Steve (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Hmmmm....well, then I won't mention that I got it to do it the other way, too. I think it has to do with what the bid is, perhaps it is legit. I'll take a look at it again. Ciao! (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

I looked hard for a way to make the Tripod banner go away but they did a good job of hiding the window name (handle). You can make the Tripod banner less of nuicanse by changing all of your <BODY> tags to <BODY onLoad="focus();"> - the net effect is (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) Looks awesome now. I had noticed it before, but I'm far from being an HTML-master, so I didn't think it was my place to point it out. :) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

KAPAs first holiday auction - Update

No Bids, no News! Did I mention that I might be willing to accept trade offers? I would be interested in any pirate sets, particularly ships of cause. Let me know your offers. Here are all sets sorted by theme (all sets are in sealed boxes and (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) Try it now. I think it's fixed. Thanks for pointing it out! (Boy do I feel stupid now. My page has looked that dumb for a week and nobody told me.) Now if I could just get rid of that darn tripod banner.... Thanks, Naji (URL) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) Try it now, Mike. I think I found the problem... Thanks, Naji (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) I see it now. (I found a machine running IE 4.) Must be a bug, as the code is html 2.0. I guess I'll move the categories down below the other information. follow-ups to lugnet.off-topic.geek Naji (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) Dunno if this is what Steve was talking about, but in my browser, IE5 running at 1024x768, I see a 40/60 table with the auction categories being squeezed into a teeny tiny section on the left. (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

Hmm. Browser-dependence. OK, I'm running IE 5 on a 1280x1024 display. Steve (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) Perhaps it is a 3. bug then? I thought it was a resolution problem, but I admit I have only tested it in Netscape 4.x. If you think that the average bidder would scroll all the way down to the bottom, I will move the categories below the other (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

(...) Is it squishing for you? What resolution are you browsing with? I tested it down to 640x480 on a 15" monitor (with the standard document font sizes) and it looks fine to me. I can certainly change it around, though, if that would mean that you (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

He probably didn't know it was squishing. At the same screen resolution I get a squished column at home (Netscape 3.something) but it's fine here at work (Netscape 4.something). Does make it harder to read, I must say. Doug (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: FA: 23000 Lego Pieces

Minor nit--why is the category-links list squished into a narrow column? Steve (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Yes! Cool, less work to do on that, more time to spend on something else. (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Actually, that's the way proxy bidding should work, IMO. Equal bids go to the earliest bidder so the first bidder should only have to meet, not beat, a challenger in a proxy war. Doug (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) You know, those castle parts, I had a set of those at one time. My mom got them from Germany. I wonder who they are from, because I do not have them anymore. Scott Sanburn (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)
