Lego Emirates Plane set 1973 - value?

We recently purchased a job lot of old lego shop stock from Malta. One of the items was the Emirates Plane set 1973 MISB. Could anyone give us an indication of value? We normally sell on Ebay and are not sure where is best to sell this. Thanks Karen (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Hi, Can anybody give me a rough estimate (since the list is poor) on all this: Two Boxes (roughly 1 foot by 1 foot by 2 feet) FULL of Lego sorted by piece in ziplock bags. One Container (only slightly smaller) filled with unsorted tiny bits and (...) (20 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Is LEGO considered a 'collectable' for insurance claims ?

(...) The only valid answer to that is "collectors". (...) It does make something of a difference, but Galidor figures came out around the same time, and I doubt any of them have appreciated in value above MSRP. (...) You've got cause and effect (...)   Re: 50 x 50 grey baseplate and blue attache case set

(...) The Samsonite Lego 50x50 plate was known as #799 (same number used in Europe) when it was first introduced in late 1965. But in 1968 for some reason Samsonite Lego changed it to #079 from 1968-70. If he had a 50x50 plate with green grass (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

(...) You guys are right on the mark! The Velveeta Kraft Lego set #4 had 321 bricks and shows (in the promotional brochure) to be made of light blue plastic with a matching light blue handle. Upon closer inspection of the small picture, it looks (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: 50 x 50 grey baseplate and blue attache case set

(...) Paul, The suitcase is probably a Samsonite set (it may even carry their logo/copyright somewhere on it). The online DB's are sorely lacking in Samsonite info. I uploaded pictures of Sam set 502 here: (URL) after mod: (URL) gallery also has a (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Old space and town sets

Hi, I'm a Lego Castle fan and right now I've got way too much old town and space stuff taking up room in my new apartment. I don't know what sets I've got becuase I never put it all together when I bought it off a friend. What I can say is that I've (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jun-04, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
