Re: Lego Train 7750 Black Engine

There's currently one going for DM510 on ebay.de, but it will likely go higher (DM800 is a figure wihch sticks in my mind for the last 7750 in such a condition--a little under $400). Alan (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Lego Train 7750 Black Engine

Hi there! Can someone tell me how much this set is worth with original box and instructions and of course complete? Any help would be great. Can someone please e-mail me and let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a lot. :-) Brendan (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Black Fire Helmet- Rare?

I only saw it in <set#602>. Is it in any other sets? If not, or if it's only in really old sets like 602, then it probably is pretty rare. (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Building Tips (was Re: WHAT THE...)

(...) Yea, when I built up the copy of the set that I have, I was impressed by the cleverness of those doors. Definitely one of the tricks to bookmark (hmm... has anyone thought about collecting LEGO construction tricks and making either a book or a (...)   Appraisal of old legos 011, 044, 346, 350, 431

I was inspired by Eric Harshbarger's page (a friend sent me a picture of the desk!) to pull out my old and very much loved Legos.   Set #2181

What's the approximate value of this set MISB? Thanks, -dead (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: WHAT THE...

(...) Actually, I don't think there is anything special about that, it can be done with doors of that type. The stickers and the bank minifig are the rarest things in this set. (that is I think they are). -dead (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: WHAT THE...

(...) Yeah, I realise that, but in most cases when I see a set go for that much over it's initial MSRP it's because there are appeals for more than one segment of collectors in it: IE, there are the people who collect sets just to collect them, (...)   Re: WHAT THE F@#$%??!?!?!

(...) not worth that much to me as much as I would like to add it to my collection. But I can think of a few reasons why someone would be willing to pay such a high amount for such a simple but somewhat rare set (in the US). 1. Some people just have (...)   Re: WHAT THE...

Some people don't collect sets for the pieces :) Like some very tiny space sets that we've seen go for over $100, because someone needed it to be complete...   Re: WHAT THE...

I've seen it go for about $100 before... seems that it's not auctioned that frequently either... maybe that's why? (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
