Yeah, I realise that, but in most cases when I see a set go for that much over
it's initial MSRP it's because there are appeals for more than one segment of
collectors in it:  IE, there are the people who collect sets just to collect
them, there are people who don't care about sets and just want pieces... ah, I
guess that's about all you can boil it down to in the end. :D

Anyway, I don't see any bits in this set that would appeal to part collectors.
Of course, I didn't go over to Brickshelf and pour over the instructions,
either... and there does seem to be some funny construction on the right side
of the building (is it just me, or are the doors on the right side at a 45
degree angle to the front of the building?)...


Actually, I don't think there is anything special about that, it can be done
with doors of that type. The stickers and the bank minifig are the rarest
things in this set. (that is I think they are).

(...) Yea, when I built up the copy of the set that I have, I was impressed by the cleverness of those doors. Definitely one of the tricks to bookmark (hmm... has anyone thought about collecting LEGO construction tricks and making either a book or a (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build)
