Having just gotten back from the Waukesha Wallyworld.. with 2 Droid Escape Pods, 1
Movie Set, the Dino attack one.. and the Tie (which I don't get till my b-day :(
on the 20th) the Pod set has some great parts!! Tiles, and plates and I think
c3po's head is kinda cool... how many people wish they'd make more heads that way??
I had to check immediately if it was removeable.. and it is!  I found no Watto's
Junkyards or shuttles though :( I saw the ATST... though that's going to have to
wait till after christmas sales..  Also anyone that spots the small soccer set 3413
let me know I'd like to get a couple of those.

The movie sets got some cool parts too! White 1x2 inverted slopes, 4 Green 2x2
Extreme slopes, Lots of green bricks and a couple of longer grey ones.
All in all, not a lot of sets, though I liked what I've gotten so far!

I picked up all the 2001 Star Wars sets today about 2pm... either they are
selling fast or in short supply on the shelves!

Kenosha too, well sort of. Wal Mart there had 4 ATSTs, about 6 Droid Escapes
and about a dozen battle droid sets yesterday @ 4 in the afternoon. Alas no
TIEs or Shuttles though. The Droid Escapes and battledroid sets were up on a
top shelf, not easy to spot.

yep!  That's exactly what I found at the Walmarts I visited.  The Tie fighters
were all *hidden* behind larger stacks of boxes on the top of the shelving
unit... same with the Watto's Junkyard and Shuttle except they were hidden in
the lower shelves.  I think that the stock people who put the items out are
trying to be sly so they can buy sets as gifts or maybe themselves.

The moral of the story: always check the top shelves at Walmart... I have found
some amazing deals on old sets that way.

cheers!
