hi folks i'm in downtown dallas, and not planning any travel over the xmas/new year break, so i'm game for a dallas/fort worth area thang. if i can clear some space before then in my place, i could probably host some limited building activity. i'll (...) just finished my 8480 for the first time... it's now 2am... must sleep... but first.. wow... what an awesome set... i've built the 8880, 5571 and 5590... but this set is definitely the most technically hip of any set i've ever put together... (...) hmmm.. well.. that's pretty much where i'm at... just north of addison on the tollway (haverwood)... we live in an apartment, but it's nicely sized... most of my lego activity takes place at a built-in desk/shelf area where everything is (...) Tonight my fiance and i were in TRU (arapaho and the tollway)... we were getting early xmas presents for our daughter... we took the required stroll down the lego aisle (mostly so i could see the 8448, which they have around 5 of, for $129)... and (...) My wife and I will be in DFW (NE Tarrant) over Christmas. Actually, we will also be in town next week for Thanksgiving.
