I seem to remember going to this event a few years back, and it was getting
cluttered and low-class at that time, but I didn't expect it to diminish in
quality any further.  That's too bad.  I'm glad I didn't waste my time.  I
built with LEGO instead that weekend.

It was an interesting experience in Capitalism, but virtually NO Lego
despite advertisements to the contrary.


I myself am hardy surprised at the lack of Lego.  But, as mentioned
previously, I am glad that the Lego brick is not seen as a collectible item.
I never much considered how the lack of a published price/value guide could
usurp this.

On a historical note, I recall this event being publicized in prior years on
RTL and the reports were always similar to John's experience.  Perhaps I
should apologize for even re-posting the info here on Lugnet.  Next year I
will be sure not to bother.
