In Manhattan, things are generally 10% higher. You've got TRU (34th St, 14th St.) Also at 14th St (Union Square) there is a Bradlee's right by TRU that now charges normal prices (plus 8.125 tax.) Bradlee's has many one-day sales with 20% off Lego, (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Hello, all! I'm a fairly new LUGNETter, but I've been a Lego fan all my life (though my recent interest in it is due to the Star Wars sets.) I've been hanging around the Star Wars section of LUGNET but only just now came across any New Yorkers. The (...) (27 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

I just moved back to the City and I was wondering if there were any "good" places around here for buying Lego stuff. The standard TRU, etc, are more expensive than the ones in the DC area. So - any tips on where to find good prices in NYC? Josh (27 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)
