Newbie having trouble ray tracing MLCad models

I need help. I am to ray-tracing Lego models. I haven’t done ray tracing for about 7-8 years, and want to ray-trace the models I created in MLCad. I have installed L3P, L3PAO, and POVRAY onto my computer. Everything seems to work fine with L3PAO (...) (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Dinner April 24 NYC

(...) Absolutley. (...) yeah, it's weird. It seems so convenient for me, stopping on the way home from work for a couple of hours. I always figured we'd have a great turnout. (...) I'll bite. You saw the building Erik, it really has nice (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Dinner April 24 NYC

(...) I think next Wednesday is likely (the 29th.) Jonathan & I have been meeting there approximately every other week, more often than these announcements. It's a habit more than a schedule. If you want to make the trip, give a shout and we'll make (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Excellent Fire Apparatus

(...) Just when I was feeling good about *my* fire apparatus....quickly humbled. Those decals are great, they appear to be taped on though (still look great though). Does anyone know where similar decals can be found? I have been all over NYC (...) (22 years ago, 15-May-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Excellent Fire Apparatus

I was browsing the brickshelf galleries, and found pictures of great fire apparatus. Here it is: (URL) Mr. Lopes- look at the two pictures of the ladder and pumper. I love the ladder truck. I have to get some of those decals. (22 years ago, 15-May-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Re: Lego Enterprise NX-01, Refit 3

(...) extremely fine. Quite apart from the high authenticity, its a nice looking ship (the two don't always go together). Particularly liked the nacelles. When do we see work start on the minifig scale version? :-) Tongue is only partially in cheek. (...) (22 years ago, 12-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Lego Enterprise NX-01, Refit 3

(...) . (...) Hey Sid- Impressive. (;-) I think your Enterprise is excellent! As a big fan of ST:X, I love it when someone creates a really cool star trek MOC. You have done a terrific job here. SW, of course, gets all of the attention, but we all (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny)

Concentration Camp "set" in NYC gallery - Israeli newspaper report

In Maariv's "Weekend" ("Sofshavu'a") section, from Friday, the 22nd of March '02, there is a big section with articles about places to see in NYC, London, Paris and Rome over Passover vacation. I was browsing through and something caught my eye. It (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny, lugnet.loc.il)

  Re: Possible NYPD decal

(...) Looks like it to me as well. Its kind of difficult to see, but they definetly have the NYPD colors. If so, I'm sure it was planned well before 9/11 but its interesting now how markings and decals like this mean so much more now (speaking for (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Disturbing use of Lego

I believe this to be an excellent use of Lego. Disturbing, yes, but excellently done. The models seem to be very good, it gave me a deep feeling of sorrow and pain. This feeling was not at the use of Lego but at the scenes they depict. Lego bricks (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Disturbing use of Lego

(...) The point of the artist was as far as I remember to remind us that even as "innocent" things as toys can be used to create horrible things. He may have a point, but he is an awfull craftsman. Play well, Jacob -- (URL) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Possible NYPD decal

Is it just me, or does it look like the police car in the new Spiderman set has a NYPD on the side of it? Take a look. (URL) bad the set looks like crap, but everything from lego is these days. (22 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Disturbing use of Lego

I thought this should be brought to people attention. I believe everyone should express himself or herself in art, but I personally did not for this, because it takes away the innocence and fun of Lego. (URL) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Re: Let's make a LEGO shopping guide for NYC. Where are the deals?

(...) maybe this advice would be considered market.theory but I knew a source of great lego, I probably wouldn't want to broadcast it for all the world to see... and the main reason for not doing so, is not for the reason of hoarding it myself, but (...)
