(...) Sounds great to me. I'd offer, but my place is a mess right now. I even have trouble getting to my Lego! :-( --Karim (27 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Anyone in the triangle area interested in a Memorial Day Weekend get together

Subject says it all. I'm willing to offer my apartment in Cary for a get together this weekend for a get together (though if someone with a bigger place wanted to offer that would be great also). Any day would be good for me. (27 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Re: More local Lego shopping

I also made a circuit of some local stores this week and came up with a FOTW at Service Merchandise on Capital Blvd in Raleigh: 1 Imperial Outpost (6263) from the Pirates theme - box sealed but slightly damaged 5 Tidy Treasure (1802) polybags for 90 (...)   More local Lego shopping

Now that I built one of my finds, I thought I'd report on Saturday's and Tuesday's Lego shopping... I checked out some used toy stores in Raleigh. There's one on Falls of the Neuse Rd. which has a good quantity of Lego, unfortuanately, most of it is (...) (27 years ago, 6-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)

  Star Wars in Cary, NC

This evening I had to go to Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of carriage bolts (Lowe's was already closed) and I cruised the LEGO aisle just to see if anything had changed. On the shelf I found two lone Star Wars sets, one Land Speeder and one Speeder (...) (27 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur)

Re: Star Wars in Portland, OR

If you are looking for Star Wars Lego sets, I'd try here in Charlotte. From what I hear, a bunch of shipments are coming to the local TRUs and Zainy Brainy. (27 years ago, 20-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.or.por, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur)

Odd collection of news groups to post this to but once you read through you'll see the linkage ... ;-) I am in Portland (actually Wilsonville) for a couple of days this week (from Raleigh, NC) and had a little free time this afternoon so I decided (...)   Re: anyone out there?

(...) Hmm, As my web pages show, I'm primarily into space (though I have a soft-spot for castle sets), but even as a kid, I remember never being too interested in the "Official" Lego models.   Re: Triangle folks

You know, I think we in NC would be better served if there were a lugnet.loc.us.nc triangle (and possibly: lugnet.loc.us.nc triad). Having seperate groups for durham and raleigh really isnt that useful, since we're only 20 minutes away, and having a (...) (27 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur)
