Hi Chris! Zany Brainy in Overland Park got a small shipment of StarWars which sold out in < 1 day. Even though I called before they put them on the shelves and they promised me a copy of each, they had "forgotten" by the time I got there. If there's (...) Hi, I sort-of read this. On the occasions that something comes accross, I do anyway. I'm in Columbia MO, but watch for events, sales, etc in KC and STL. (...) (27 years ago, 10-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

(...) Hi, I finally found this group. If anyone reads this, post a reply. I'm collecting gray parts to build a Minifig scale Battleship. Any week now, I'll launch a web site for parts. Anyway, a battleship is a bit difficult. Thanks for the 6250 (...) (27 years ago, 5-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

(...) Wow, discussion. One thing I miss about living in a metro area is bad neighborhoods. I bet that Kmarts in bad neighborhoods are better places to look. If you're within a mile of the Galleria, you're made of money and can aford Lego. How about (...) (27 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

I wish I knew of some good places. The big Target accross from the Galleria had a few sets discounted by 25% (a couple of smaller Ninja sets and a Pharoah's Forbidden Fortress). The KB Outlet store in the outlet mall on I70 between Columbia and St. (...) (27 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

(...) Good point... it was 18 wks since the post you responded to! So, lemme start some discussion. Anyone know good places around Stl to get legos? If you want to pay full price for older ones, there's FAO Schwarz, who has a full line of Time (...) (27 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

I'm in Columbia, not KC, but hi. I collect primarily Space and Castle themes. No monorail or train stuff, though am interested in eventually branching into both. My current solution for how to fund my hobby is to go into debt. Not a good solution. (...) (27 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

Hello to all Kansas City Legomaniacs. Let's gather names of who is out here, what themes you primarily collect, and what sort of information would be helpful to post. For starters I collect anything that would go well with a train layout, including (...) (28 years ago, 17-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)
