Used when butting into the middle of a thread in which you hadn't been a
participant.  It's not usually applicable to newsgroups -- too many people
coming and going.

I thought it made sense in this case, since I was lurking in a local group
outside of my local.  And supplying an answer for which I wasn't really the
best source.

CI$?? ptui... Back when CI$ was popular I was running my own games BBS with 30+ online games (Including Trade Wars 2002, Sproat... and Planet Busters, which I wrote myself) (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

Thanks to all who mailed or posted directions, I found the place. We all had a blast. Paul Foster had a very very impressive line up of fire apparatus, Ricky brought his supercustomized 5571 and trailer (and I made his day by sliding him an extra 8 (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)
