Any interest in a Train Club?

Hey all! I have been inspired! Would anyone have any interest in forming a Connecticut and/or southern Mass. LEGO Train Club? Jake --- Jake McKee LEGO Enthusiast Webmaster - B.I. Portal (URL) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.loc.us.ct, lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr)

(...) , that's I found my Exclusive train for at a MPLS area Target last week for. Haven't seen any of the separate cars recently but there's these train LUG's around here that I suspect of scooping up as much as they can get :^) Mike (21 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Western Mass, Lego, and More

(...) Heh, I don't actually live in Western Mass either. I'm from south of the border in Connecticut, but I work in Southwick. You'll have bring your Mac to work someday so I can stop in during lunch and see what it's like in person. (21 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr)

Re: Western Mass, Lego, and More

(...) While not in Mass, I am just down the street in Enfield, CT. And speaking of Target... the Enfield Target has a number of MOT cars, as well as the exclusive train set with the Max and Charlie minifigs on sale. Not sure how much, but I remember (...) (...) And we few Western Massers (Massites? Massians?) have the Holyoke Target all to ourselves! Mwuha Mwuha Mwuhahahaha! ....Sorry too much Austin Powers lately...   Re: Western Mass, Lego, and More

(...) Eeek! You gave away all my secret shopping sites except for the KB ToyWorks in Westfield! Oops. Actually they're generally overpriced except for some weird closeout sale items they get from somewhere. Like those little ninja sets they got in (...)   Re: Western Mass, Lego, and More

(...) *snip* Excellent synopsis, Hendo! While not a current W. MA resident, I did live in Westminster when I came out of my Dark Ages. We used to frequent the TRU at Searstown Mall and scope out LEGO finds some ten years ago. My wife bought a small (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr)

  Western Mass, Lego, and More

Re: Best Lego Store in Western Mass?

There is a TRU in Auburn, as well as a brand new Wal-Mart in Sturbridge. Ames and K-Mart in Palmer (Although they are very old and usually bare). Walmart in Ware. Most of these are within a few miles of a 'Pike' Exit/Entrance. Dan M. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr)

Re: Best Lego Store in Western Mass?

My 8 Cents (inflation)... As imperfect as it is, TRU seems to be the best bet in Western Mass. The TRU at the Holyoke Mall is okay. Although not as convenient for me, I visited the other area TRU and found it's selection better. I'm not exactly (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.spr)
